“They Make Me Feel Wanted” 2027 Pennsylvania Receiver Talks Penn State Football Visit
Pottstown Pennsylvania native Matthew Gregory visited State College on Thursday. Four-star Matthew Gregory of Owen J Roberts High School is a very important recruit for Penn State Football in 2027.
Recently NittanyCentral caught up with him about his trip to State College.
“The visit was good,” Gregory told NittanyCentral. “We watched practice, we got to watch the players’ meetings. They showed us the players lounge”. Gregory said he talked to Coach Hagans a lot. Me and my family met Coach Franklin after practice.”
Overall, Gregory seemed to have a good time in Happy Valley.

Penn State’s Message to Gregory
There is no doubt that the Nittany Lions must lock down the Keystone State when it comes to recruiting. This is the key expectation year in and year out, and the class of 2027 is no different.
Penn State has a clear message and sales pitch for the star wide receivr.
“They told me that I’m a big priority,” Gregory says. “And they like my film a lot. They make me feel like I’m wanted.”
Gregory isn’t looking to make a decision just yet on where to go to school. After all, the class of 2027 is over a year and a half away from signing.
“I wanna take my time,” Gregory explained. “Take my visits … and then eventually I’ll commit. My goal is to commit like at the end of my junior year, sometime after football season.”

Competition Intense for Gregory’s Commitment
The Keystone state pass catcher plans on taking other visits this spring.
“I’ll visit Virginia, Syracuse, and I might add a visit to Maryland,” Gregory said. “I don’t know yet.”
As far as leaders in his recruitment, Gregory said. “Penn State is up there for sure. Rutgers is up there. I like Wisconsin. Syracuse is up there as well.”
Gregory will continue to enjoy his recruitment and finish out the track and 7 on 7 season strong. The Nittany Lions will continue to recruit him in hopes that he can become a leader in the budding class of 2027.
