Why Penn State Hockey’s Offense Could Be Prolific
This is fantastic news for a program that must highlight depth scoring this season and hopes to see a few more names get near the 30-point column.
Among all those essential names, goaltender Liam Souliere takes the cake. Arizona State was the first glimpse of another elite goaltender at Happy Valley, earning his first career win. He stopped 36 out of 40 shots and registered a primary assist on the overtime goal.
Goaltender Liam Souliere could be in line to make his first start of the season, in Penn State Hockey’s season-opener.
Souliere earned a .947 save percentage on 36 saves the last time he faced the Golden Griffins.
The old phrase stays true, goaltending wins championships.
