Penn State Football and quarterback Drew Allar struggled to get the offense moving in a 38 to 25 loss to Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl Saturday afternoon.
Allar continued his struggles with accuracy finishing the first half just 5 of 14 passing for 115 yards one touchdown and one interception.
The interception was only Allar’s second interception of the season but was a horrendous deep shot down the field yards away from the intended receiver.
In the second half, Allar was not much better, as the offense failed to pick up a single first down in the first three drives of the second half.

Allar and Penn State’s offense struggled to throw the ball down the field again, similar to what was seen most of the season. Late in the fourth quarter, Allar turned the ball over his second time of the game, a strip sack as Allar stepped in the pocket to throw.
Allar tossed his second touchdown of the day to Harrison Wallace III with 4:14 to go in the fourth, however too little too late for Penn State as it only cut the Ole Miss lead to 13. Allar finished the game 19 for 40 for 295 yards and two touchdowns and one interception.
Allar finishes below 50 percent for the fifth time this season.
Allar faces a long offseason with questions surrounding the Penn State offense and his status as a former five-star quarterback.
