Former Penn State Football star Jahan Dotson continues to emerge as a key contributor for the Washington Commanders’ offense, and Sunday night made one of the more impressive catches of the NFL season.
Dotson, chosen by the Commanders No. 16 overall in April’s 2022 NFL Draft following a stellar career for the Nittany Lions, pulled down a 61-yard completion from quarterback Taylor Heinicke that is bound to be featured on Washington highlights for years to come.

Stretching the field, Dotson went up and made the grab over the back of New York Giants safety Jason Pinnock for a 61-yard gain, with 9:06 remaining.
By game’s end, Dotson collected four receptions for 105 yards with one touchdown against New York.
Dotson has developed into not only a worthy complement to top receiver Terry McLaurin, but a legitimate weapon in his own right.
Through the first nine games of his career, Dotson has caught 23 passes for 338 yards with six touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Dotson has only dropped one pass, as Commanders quarterbacks boast an 82.4 passer rating on his 32 targets.
