Penn State and Matt Campbell are set to
0:02
host several elite prospects for the
0:04
class of 2027 and 2028 on campus this
0:07
weekend. And here are my three thoughts.
0:09
One, what happens with Kan spell? At one
0:11
time, he was committed to Penn State,
0:13
but after firing Franklin, he um
0:16
decommitted and now he's come back
0:18
around on campus and Matt Campbell has a
0:20
chance to do something special with him
0:22
in that 2027 class. he would be an elite
0:25
piece to build off of and yeah, I'm
0:28
interested to see what happens with him
0:29
on campus this weekend. Number two,
0:31
Samson Gash. He's a 2026 wide receiver
0:34
out of Michigan. He's supposed to be on
0:36
campus this weekend and he's a pretty
0:38
big recruit, one of the few 2026's um
0:41
out there that hasn't signed in before
0:43
the February um deadline. So, it'd be
0:46
interesting to see what Penn State can
0:48
do with him on campus. obviously he's
0:49
committed to Michigan State, but his dad
0:51
did play at Penn State and they're still
0:53
in this recruitment and that'd be a huge
0:55
win for Matt Campbell um in the class of
0:57
2026.
0:59
And number three, Matt Campbell's taking
1:02
Pennsylvania recruiting very seriously.
1:04
He's got a ton of visitors from
1:06
Pennsylvania slated to come this
1:07
weekend. Um Khalil Taylor, Gabe Jenkins,
1:10
George Parkinson, tons of others. It's a
1:13
it's a loaded region and loaded state
1:15
this year in 2027 and 2028 as well. So,
1:19
this proves to me Matt Campbell is
1:20
taking that very seriously and is
1:22
beginning to start that Pennsylvania
1:24
recruiting, which is so key to Penn
