Penn State Football picked up its second commitment for the 2024 class when 4-star Anthony Speca made his announcement Tuesday morning.
Speca is a 6-foot-2 220-pound linebacker out of Central Catholic high school (Pittsburgh, PA), who arrives as the latest addition to the Nittany Lions‘ 2024 class.
During the 2022 season, Speca finished with 122 tackles including 19 tackles for loss and 3 sacks. He also forced 3 fumbles and caught 1 interception. The linebacker chose Penn State Football over Ohio State, Michigan, and Pittsburgh. He ranks No. 328 Nationally and is the No. 9 player from Pennsylvania.

This is the second 4-star for James Franklin and the Lions in the recruiting class so far with offensive lineman Cooper Cousins (#128) out of Reading previously committed in January 2022.
Penn State Football now has 2 of the 11 blue chip prospects from Pennsylvania for the 2024 cycle. There are still 7 top prospects remaining in the class.
