Dante Cephas Enters Transfer Portal After Struggling to Learn Penn State Football Playbook
After one season with Penn State Football, wide receiver Dante Cephas is expected to enter the transfer portal, per On3 Sports.
Cephas, a former Kent State transfer to Penn State, spent one season with the Nittany Lions, playing in 12 games and starting six.
In 2023, Cephas caught 22 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns.
While Cephas was Penn State’s second-leading receiver this season, sources tell Nittany Central that Cephas struggled to grasp the playbook, leading to miscommunication with Penn State starting quarterback Drew Allar.
