After reports surfaced Monday of Penn State Football expressing interest in UNLV’s Brennan Marion, head coach James Franklin reportedly met with Kansas offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki, according to Bryson Stricker of Bleacher Report.
Kotelnicki led the Jayhawks to a top-30 offense this season in total yards and scoring offense, including helping the Jayhawks score 38 points in an upset win over Oklahoma.
There are legitimate rumblings that Penn State HC James Franklin flew to Lawrence today to meet with OC Andy Kotelnicki.
Unfortunately for us, my legitimate rumblings are actually legitimate.
EDIT to add it appears flight today is fake news & the VB team. I can still confirm…

Kotelnicki has been with Kansas as the offensive coordinator since 2021 and was promoted to associate head coach in December 2022.
When the position opened, Franklin expressed interest in hiring a new offensive coordinator before Penn State’s bowl game and is currently meeting with candidates this week.
