Penn State Football put the entire college football world on notice with its 34-12 win against West Virginia on Saturday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions dominated both sides of the ball and passed one of their tougher tests of the season.
Penn State still has to play on the road at USC, Wisconsin, and host Ohio State, but they got most likely their most brutal road game out of the way, and there is a great chance they will be able to make the college football playoff this year.
When your team puts on a show in their first game, many people and the national media will take notice, and that’s exactly what happened to Penn State on Sunday.

The feeling around Penn State feels much different this season than in years past, and even though they beat West Virginia badly in the opener last year, this win on Saturday feels 100 times better.
It could be because it was on the road, and West Virginia is a much better team now than it was last year. The offense looked great under the new offensive coordinator, Andy Kotelnicki.
Penn State Football still has a long way to go this season, but everybody should feel great about this team in Happy Valley right now.
