“Too Tired” Donald Trump Bails on Attending Penn State Football vs. Ohio State, and Fans Erupt
Former President Donald Trump has decided against attending Saturday’s Penn State Football game against Ohio State at Beaver Stadium.
Trump was originally invited to attend the game by a private citizen in one of Beaver Stadium’s luxury suites, however, a university spokesperson confirms to NittanyCentral that those plans have changed.
The current Republican nominee for President will instead hold a rally in Salem, Virginia, on Saturday afternoon, two days before Election Day, in place of attending the Nittany Lions‘ showdown against the Buckeyes.
Several fans had been concerned about the logistical nightmare of a former President attending the game, and the significant additional security that comes with it, potentially creating severe logjams at the gates to Beaver Stadium which can only be described as a tedious process on its best days.
Some fans took to social media to suggest Trump is “too tired” while others labeled him a “dangerous idiot.”
Here’s a sampling of reaction to the news that Trump decided not to attend Saturday’s game:
