Coach Franklin’s Message to Olu Olubobola

Coming from New Jersey, Olubobola made it to camp in early June. He said he enjoyed the experience and even got to chat with Head Coach, James Franklin.

Franklin gave him a promising message. “He said that I was very good.” Olubobola said. “He wants to see me grow and progress.”

Additionally, Coach Phil Trautwein was able to give Olubobola some helpful pointers. Olubobola described it this way. “It was just nice getting coached by the O-Line coach. Just getting to see the type of drills they have that I can learn from.”

The New Jersey native is not yet close to reaching a decision. But, being one of Penn State’s most wanted targets in the class of 2027 means that the Nittany Lions will continue recruiting Olubobola very hard.
