BREAKING: Terry Wiggins Commits to Penn State
Penn State Football has just landed their first Linebacker commit for the class of 2026. Coatesville Area High School native, Terry Wiggins has committed to the Nittany Lions.
Wiggins is fresh off of a visit to Penn State. He made the short trip over to Happy Valley for the spring game and loved it.
“I loved it, I loved everything that I saw.” Wiggins said. “Especially with Coach Knowles telling me like, what the goal is and what the objective is for the defense… With forcing everything to the Linebackers.”
Jim Knowles, Dan Connor, and James Franklin made quite the impression on Wiggins and led him to announce a commitment.

What Teams Did Penn State Beat to Land Wiggins?
Terry Wiggins is ranked as an ON3 Industry four-star. He holds offers from a host of schools. Not only is Wiggins highly rated by recruiting services, but he was high on Penn State’s Linebacker board.
The Pennsylvania native was slated to officially visit Kentucky, Cincinnati, Syracuse, and Penn State this summer. However, I would imagine his pledge to Penn State will change that. Additionally, Wiggins will likely help peer recruit for Penn State. The first person he will likely recruit is 2027 teammate Maxwell Hiller, a top target for Penn State in 2027.
Standing at 6-3, 205, Terry Wiggins has the tools to be an elite Linebacker at the college level. Not only that, but he brings a feel to the game that is really advanced for this stage of his career.Wiggins said this after his most recent visit. “…They really love my athleticism and they’re really excited for if I do commit to Penn State.”
The best in PA stay in PA. Unsurprisingly, Wiggins is staying home to play for the Nittany Lions. This is a big time get for James Franklin and Penn State Football.
