WATCH: Penn State Football QB Drew Allar connects on deep BOMB to transfer WR

Penn State Football quarterback Drew Allar is cooking during Nittany Lions training camp.

The Heisman hopeful is looking to bring greatness back to Happy Valley and James Franklin is counting on Allar in a similar way he did with Saquon Barkley.

Allar is being relied upon heavily to help change the culture and future direction of the Penn State Football program.

Allar has all the talent a college quarterback can possess.

This is a 11-man game however, and the entire offense needs to come together and mesh for Allar to have a successful season as advertised.

The whole PSU offense from the five linemen blocking, the tight ends and running backs fulfilling a variety of roles, and receivers making plays downfield will need to stay afloat to be a dynamic and versatile offense.

Allar has a cannon for an arm and showed today he can sling the rock downfield.

One Allar deep ball in particular made waves on social media Wednesday, as Allar launched a 35+ yard deep ball to the transfer wide receiver Malik McClain.

McClain made an impressive grab being draped all over in coverage by Cam Miller.

McClain is headed into his first year in the Big Ten and is looking to establish a role in a crowded PSU pass game.

He did not make the impact he wanted to during his time at FSU and has now found his way to Penn State.

If Allar keeps making throws like this in games, he will be one of the top QBs in college football this season. Look for the Penn State offense to keep growing and attacking its deep game downfield.
