Penn State Football caps off a wild week on the recruiting trail with a commitment from in-state 4-star edge rusher Ta’Mere Robinson.
The Nittany Lions finish off a terrific week of recruiting by landing a second in-state blue chipper on Friday afternoon.
The six-foot-four and 225 pound edge rusher had his final decision down to the Lions, Virginia Tech and Miami.
Ranked as the 137th best player by the 247composite, this was a huge win for head coach James Franklin and staff, especially holding off the Canes, who have been on fire of late.

Robinson is a multi sport athlete who runs track and also plays basketball and had his junior year cut short due to an ACL and MCL injury so it will be interesting to see what he does in his senior season. If he comes back healthy, a rise up the 247Sports rankings could be in order.
His six-foot-four frame has plenty of ability to add more muscle and weight that will make him an ideal defensive end in Penn State Football’s 4-3 scheme.
The Pittsburgh product is the third 4-star recruitment of the week and second defensive star after the Nittany Lions landed linebacker Tony Rojas on Thursday.
Penn State Football currently sits at number five in the 247Sports rankings for 2023.
