Penn State Football Recruiting Adds Elite Cornerback Commitment

Penn State Football recruiting received some much-needed momentum on the recruiting trail on Monday afternoon.

Elite top 100 recruit cornerback Daryus Dixson announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions around noon on Monday.

The 4-star from Santa Ana, California made the call just days after officially visiting Penn State this past weekend. Needless to say, the visit went well.

Dixsonā€™s other offers included Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and plenty of others.

His top group seemed to be Washington and Tennessee though, as he visited Washington to start the month and was slated to be at Tennessee this upcoming weekend.

Listed at 6-foot and 180 pounds, the No. 90 overall recruit in the 247 Sports Composite is now the top recruit in Penn Stateā€™s 2025 class.

Holding onto a commit from California may be challenging, but Penn Stateā€™s recent success at cornerback gives them a leg up in this one.
