Penn State Football tight end Theo Johnson announced Friday via X that he will declare for the 2024 NFL Draft but will play one more game for the Nittany Lions in the upcoming Peach Bowl.

Penn State Football TE Theo Johnson NFL Bound
The fourth-year junior from Ontario, Canada, has caught 75 passes for 922 yards and 11 touchdowns for Penn State.
Johnson recorded his best year in 2023, catching 32 passes for 325 yards and six touchdowns this season, recording at least two catches in 11 games this season.
In his declaration, Johnson thanked “Coach Franklin, Coach Howle, the coaches, players, staff and the fans for making [his] time at Penn State an unforgettable experience.”
Johnson was selected as an honorable mention on the All-Big Ten team this season by both the media and the coaches. Johnson is tied for third all-time among Penn State tight ends in touchdown catches. Johnson will have one final game in a Penn State Football uniform to raise his draft stock in the Peach Bowl vs. Ole Miss.
