Penn State and Ryan Clanton have secured another piece for the offensive line. Today, Tiffin University transfer Tyshon Huff committed to Penn State.
Huff is a class of 2023 product originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Coming out of high school, Huff chose nearby division two school, Tiffin. He brings two years of eligibility with him to Penn State.

From One Sack Allowed in Division Two to Penn State: How Huff can Impact the Nittany Lions
After not seeing much of the field in 2023 or 2024, Huff burst onto the scene in 2025. The Cincinnati native started all 11 games for Tiffin while only allowing one sack.
Huff checks in at 6’5, 300 pounds. That size is pretty good, however, putting on an additional 15-20 pounds would probably be good for Huff.
This will ultimately be a long term project for Ryan Clanton and company. Given Penn State’s depth and talent along the offensive line currently, Huff will come in and be a depth piece in 2026. Beyond 2026, Huff will have an opportunity to get in the weight room, and develop. He projects as someone whose route is to develop for a year before making an impact on the field.
Ultimately, Tyshon Huff has pretty good size and production from the division two ranks. Ryan Clanton will have the chance to grow him and his game to the next level.
