Although it took Penn State Football’s offense three drives to get into a rhythm under new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki, quarterback Drew Allar’s first touchdown pass of the season was spectacular.
A season removed from a very inexplosive offense where Allar and Penn State completed only five passes of over 50 yards on the season, Allar’s first touchdown pass of the 2024 season was a 50-yard dart to Harrison Wallace III.
Wallace III caught the first three Allar passes against West Virginia for 82 yards.

Wallace III had his best game of the 2023 season against West Virginia, catching seven passes for 72 yards. On the season, Wallace III caught 19 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown, missing a significant chunk of time with injury.
Last season, Allar began the season with a 72-yard touchdown pass to KeAndre Lambert-Smith on the first drive of the game against West Virginia, en route to a 325 yard three touchdown performance in a 38-15 win.
