The bright lights of the NCAA Tournament took center stage on Thursday night Penn State Basketball took part in it for the 1st time since 2011 as they took on Texas A&M in Des Moines, IA
The Nittany Lions took apart Texas A&M 76-59 for their 1st NCAA Tournament win since 2001.
Penn State Basketball fans took to Twitter to react to the win, and celebrate one of the biggest victories in the recent history of the program, and certainly of Micah Shrewsberry’s tenure as the Nittany Lions’ head coach.

It remains to be seen whether Penn State can keep its unexpected tournament run going, when the Nittany Lions take on the Texas Longhorns in the second round in a Saturday night tilt.
