Peyton Falzone visits OSU the day of the Ohio State Buckeyes' 38-15 win over the Indiana Hoosiers in an NCAA football game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024.
In one of the most unique recruiting classes the sport has ever seen, Penn State Football will have at least two signees.
Quarterback Peyton Falzone has announced that he intends to sign with the Nittany Lions. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because it is.
Falzone committed to the Nittany Lions in April, before flipping to Auburn in June. Earlier this week, Falzone announced his decommitment from the Tigers. The Nazareth native joins four-star edge rusher Jackson Ford as Penn State’s two signees in the early window for the 2026 cycle.
4-Star QB Peyton Falzone Flips to Penn State to Complete the Early Signing Window

Falzone is ranked as a 4-star prospect. The Nazareth PA native stands 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. He has plenty of physical gifts as a track athlete and star football player for Nazareth.
As a player, Peyton Falzone has followed a very unique path. He has been training with Quarterbacks Coach Brad Maendler. Maendler has also worked with Nittany Lions, Drew Allar and Ethan Grunkemeyer.
Dual-Threat Talent: What Penn State is Getting in Falzone
Falzone’s speed and running ability are there. He has great ability to pick up first downs with his legs, extend plays, and throw on the run. The one area he is working to improve, is his throwing motion.
Back in the spring Falzone spoke to NittanyCentral about the work he is doing with Maendler
“I love working with him,” Falzone told NittayCentral of his time working with Maendler. “He’s changed my game so dramatically. From where I was just to start the new year [with Maendler]… From then on it’s just night and day. I’ve become so much more accurate as a passer, and I can also generate power without even having to try.”
Falzone also noted that Maendler has helped him become more rotational as a thrower.
Penn State is getting an extremely athletic Quarterback with all the tools to be successful at the collegiate level if his throwing motion continues to improve.
