Penn State Wrestling: Aaron Brooks is a four-time NCAA Champion
Aaron Brooks caps off an amazing Penn State Wrestling career by winning his fourth NCAA title.
At this point, I don’t know what else can be said about Brooks. He’s a top tier competitor, he’s one of the hardest working guys in any wrestling room, his talent is other-worldly, and he’s an amazing human being.

Aaron Brooks Caps Dominant Penn State Wrestling Career in Championship Fashion
In every NCAA Championship tournament Brooks has wrestled in, he has put all of the above traits on full display. But I believe with what he did in this year’s NCAA’s, he’s outdone even himself.
Brooks’ 6-0 win in the finals against NC State’s Trent Hidlay gives him his fourth NCAA title. Prior to this evening there were only five other guys in the history of collegiate wrestling who have ever won four titles.
And his final season alone could go down as one of the best in Nittany Lion history.
Aaron went a perfect 22-0 and put together a bonus point percentage of 95%. That along with a Big Ten title, named Outstanding Wrestling of the Big Ten Championships, named Big Ten Wrestler of the Year, and winning his fourth NCAA title, is absolutely Hodge Trophy worthy.
And for his career Brooks also sports a record of 89-3 and is a four-time Big Ten champion.
When looking back at the annals of Penn State Wrestling, with what Aaron Brooks has accomplished, he is absolutely one of the best in Nittany Lion history and he too deserves to be on the ever-growing Mount Rushmore of Penn State athletics.
