In the first round of the NCAA Championships, Penn State Wrestling standout Carter Starocci had 99 career wins and took on Caden Rogers of Lehigh.
Starocci walked off the mat with a tech fall victory 18-2 and 100 career wins for Penn State.

Carter Starocci Round-By-Round Recap for Penn State Wrestling
After taking one point via stalling penalty in the first period Starocci scored a takedown with just under a minute left taking a four-point lead into the second period.
Another stalling penalty gave Starocci another point and then he turned Rogers for near-fall points to end the period ahead 9-0.
In the third period, Starocci seized his opportunity against a tired opponent and scored three takedowns in the third period to take the Tech Fall victory 18-2.
Starocci will face Shane Cartagena-Wals of Rutgers in Session II tonight starting at 7PM.
