Penn State Wrestling: Nittany Lions Tally 6 Wins in Medal Round | 2025 NCAA Championships Session V FULL RESULTS

Having three wrestlers in the finals as a team, Penn State Wrestling and Cael Sanderson came out in the medal round determined to win. Excluding Greg Kerkvliet, who forfeited due to injury, the remaining wrestlers won out in the medal round.

For only the second time in history a team had 10 All-Americans (2001 Minnesota). And just like the Gophers, the Nittany Lions have done it this year. All ten Penn State wrestlers earned All-American honors yesterday, and they came out today to cement the weekend.

Losing tough semifinal or quarterfinal bouts and having to come back the next day to keep wrestling is never easy mentally. But Penn State wrestlers showed the reason they are on pace to break their team point total from last season.
