Penn State Wrestling clobbered the North Dakota State Bison 46-0 in their first of two dual meets in the 2025 Journeymen Collegiate Wrestling Duals.
Later this evening when the dust finally settles on the 2025 Journeymen Collegiate Wrestling Duals, there will plenty of sore bodies around that gym. But what else would you expect when you bring in programs like the Nittany Lions, North Dakota State, and Stanford, and have each of them wrestle back-to-back duals in the span of four hours?

Then you have the gauntlet of Ohio State, Little Rock, Cornell, Iowa State, Illinois, and Lehigh on the other side of the bracket. But those guys got to rest today. Because the 2025 Journeymen Duals are slated to continue tomorrow afternoon.

As for Penn State Wrestling, they kicked off the festivities by taking the Bison behind the woodshed and slapping them to the tune of 46-0.
The Nittany Lions were impressive from the opening whistle. And they proved yet again why they are simply the best in the nation. Regardless of what FloWrestling has to say.
And look, were there several ranked matchups in this dual? Sure. But none of those guys could really push around the likes of Shayne Van Ness or Levi Haines.
However, in Penn State Wrestling’s next dual against Stanford, there could be some interesting matchups.
But the biggest news out of this dual meet?
“Good God! That’s Josh Barr’s entrance music!”
Yes, you heard that right. Barr made his season debut this evening.
And Josh made quick work of his opponent in winning a technical fall only 20 seconds into the second period.
