Things have been going good for No. 10 Penn State Football, as Nittany Lions remain undefeated at 5-0, and have a huge test this week as they battle undefeated No. 5 Michigan on Saturday at The Big House at Michigan.
One of the subplots to Penn State Football’s fast start, is former five-star recruit — and freshman quarterback Drew Allar’s success during his opportunities he’s had to be on the field during the Lions’ non-conference schedule.
During his media availability on Tuesday, Penn State Football starter Sean Clifford would get asked about some of the fans calling for Allar to start.

In their most recent game against Northwestern, it was not one of their better performances and some of the fans are saying it is time for a change at QB and the future of the team is Drew Allar.
Against the Wildcats, Clifford was held to 140 passing yards with one touchdown to one interception, as Penn State Football escaped with an ugly 17-7 win, to remain undefeated.
Meanwhile, Allar has passed for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns in spot duty across four games.
We will see how Clifford responds this week against Michigan, and if Penn State Football’s bye week was able to help him get back to doing things that were working early in the season.
