PHILADELPHIA — The headline game of the weekend was in the City of Philadelphia as the No. 1 Purdue Boilermakers took on Penn State Basketball from the Palestra on the campus of the University of Penn.
Back in November, the Nittany Lions announced the game was a sellout, which is a testament not only to the Penn State fanbase but also the importance of Philadelphia as a recruiting stranglehold for head coach Micah Shrewsberry.

One of America’s most historic College Basketball venues, and home to Philadelphia’s Big-5, Penn State Basketball returned to Philadelphia Sunday evening in hopes of creating a memorable atmosphere for players, fans, and prospective recruits, alike.
The game is on the Big Ten Network, as Penn State Basketball aims to upset the top-ranked team in the nation, in an attempt to notch a signature win.
