Penn State Football Recruiting: Newly Offered 2026 Prospect Talks Penn State Offer [EXCLUSIVE]

This week, Penn State Football offered Wide Receiver, Zorian Gray-Vest. The DMV native was kind enough to sit down with NittanyCentral and discuss the offer.

“It was crazy.” Gray-Vest told NittanyCentral of his offer from head coach James Franklin, and staff. “It’s Penn State University, and it meant a lot because I’ve been praying to God and grinding for this type of stuff.”

Gray-Vest Brings Versatility

Standing at 6 foot-7, the Dr. Henry A Wise prep player has options as to what position he can play at the next level.

Obviously, with that height, Tight End would make sense, but Gray-Vest has played wideout his whole life. He looks to play Wide Receiver at the next level, but is not opposed to moving positions.

“It’s whatever the coach needs me to do.” Gray-Vest said in regard to where he sees himself at the next level. “If I gotta gain 30 pounds to play Tight End, I will.”

Gray-Vest also went on to note how good Penn State’s strength and conditioning program are, specifically Chuck Losey.

Offer Could Lead to More

Zorian Gray-Vest has been traveling around with his high school seven-on-seven team to different colleges. This is where he earned his Penn State offer.

”June 8th, or 9th, we pulled up for the 7 on 7 [at Penn State]. We balled out and won. We won the whole thing and I got MVP.” Said Gray-Vest. “They pulled me aside and did some measurements with the receivers Coach Hagans.”

Prediction: Penn State Football Recruiting Target Joey O’Brien Decision Day Has Major Twist

The Maryland prospect said that a few days later, he returned to campus and did some drills and threw with Penn State commit, Peyton Falzone. In the following days, he said that his high school coach had told him about the offer.

Zorian Gray-Vest said that he and his high school 7 on 7 team are continuing to hit the circuit. They have done well at West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Penn State, and others. At all three camps, Gray-Vest has taken home the MVP award.

Zorian Gray-Vest could potentially be a name to watch as a late riser in this 2026 recruiting cycle.
