Penn State Football defensive end Adisa Isaac confirmed via twitter that he will return to Happy Valley to play his senior season.
Issac returned to the Nittany Lions‘ lineup this season after missing the 2021 season with a lower body injury. In 13 games this season, Isaac recorded 28 tackles, four sacks, and 11 tackles for a loss.
Prior to Penn State Football’s Rose Bowl win, Isaac explained just how valuable the added practice time will be for the Nittany Lions’ future.
“It’s gonna do a lot for us,” Isaac said, via 247Sports. “A lot of the mistakes that we made won’t be happening. A lot of guys will have a better understanding their second year in the system. Mostly everybody gets better just with system reps, spending time doing the same thing over and over. So in a second year, a lot of guys are gonna flourish in having that familiarity with it.”
In 2023, Isaac was a third team All-Big Ten selection by the coaches and an honorable mention by the media. Popular among his teammates and coaches alike, Isaac was also named the Penn State coaching staff’s defensive player of the game against Auburn.

Isaac will look to improve his draft stock and will solidify a defensive end group that returns a ton of talent including Isaac, Chop Robinson, and Dani Dennis Sutton.
