Mike Rhodes Fuels Fiery Penn State Basketball revival with another explosive Transfer Portal Add

Penn State Basketball and head coach Mike Rhoades‘ hot streak on the recruiting trail found yet another big victory, securing the commitment from Qudus Wahab, the Center from Georgetown.

Wahab has played four years for the Georgetown Hoyas and last year averaged 9.6 points and an impressive 7.1 rebounds per game. He played 23.5 minutes per game and shot 51.1% from the field (and 71.2% from the stripe).

He fills a huge position of need for the Nittany Lions, who’s roster is really starting to take shape following the sudden departure of Micah Shrewsberry.

Georgetown center Qudus Wahab announced he will be transferring to Penn State.

Wahab originally began his career at Georgetown before transferring to Maryland and then back to Georgetown for this season.

How Qudus Wahab fits Penn State Basketball

Coming out of high school, Wahab was a top 150 player in the nation and ranked as the 24th best center. His 6’10”, 230 lb frame will be crucial for Penn State and hopefully serve as a mentor for rising sophomore Demetrius Lilley.

Qudus Wahab was listed in the top 200 recruits in the entire transfer portal when he entered on March 31st, according to the On3 Transfer Portal. Originally from Ashburn, VA, Wahab will have a single year of eligibility for the Nittany Lions and MIke Rhoades.
