Why Brennan Marion Makes Sense for Penn State Football

Marion is “one of the nation’s most highly regarded assistants, Marion is the architect of the innovative ‘Go-Go Offense’.”
This year at UNLV, Marion has led the Rebels’ offense to top 30 in the nation in points per game, yards per game, yards per play, third down conversions, and red zone scoring. UNLV ranks fifth in the nation in third down conversions.
Third down has been a point of emphasis for James Franklin in his offensive coordinator search.
According to Davis, Penn State joins Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Arkansas in pursuit of Marion’s services as an offensive coordinator. Marion is also interviewing for the open head coaching vacancy at San Diego State and is receiving interest for the vacancies at Houston, Oregon State, and UTEP.
