Dallion Johnson entered the transfer portal shortly after the season ended and we know where he will be heading.

Johnson will be joining former Penn State Basketball head coach Pat Chambers at Florida Gulf Coast next season.

Chambers was the one who recruited Johnson for the 2020 class when he was a 3-star recruit ranked No. 345 nationally. Johnson averaged 2.0 points per game while playing 8.8 minutes per game during the 2022-23 season. That was down from the 2021-22 season where the young guard averaged 3.7 ppg in 14.5 minutes per game.

His playing time was mostly garbage time minutes thanks to the influx of transfers that Micah Shrewsberry brought in for the 2022-23 season pushing him down on the depth chart.

Johnson will have two years of eligibility left including his COVID-year.
