The biggest game of the 2024 college football season has arrived for No. 3 Penn State Football, as the Nittany Lions host the No. 4 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday, in a contest with significant Big Ten Conference Championship and College Football Playoff implications.
For Penn State, there is also much uncertainty about who will be behind center when head coach James Franklin leads the Nittany Lions out of the tunnel on Saturday afternoon in one of the biggest games in Beaver Stadium history.
Saturday night during Penn State’s comeback victory over quarterback Drew Allar suffered an apparent lower-body injury that forced him out of the game and backup Beu Pribula into action for the second half.
During his weekly press conference Monday, Franklin gave an update on when the program would decide on Allar’s availability for Saturday’s game.

All eyes will be on Happy Valley, as FOX will host the Big Noon Kickoff pre-game show from the Bryce Jordan Center, as ESPN’s CollegeGameDay will also host their show in the shadow of Beaver Stadium outside the Bryce Jordan Center.
Whether Allar is healthy enough to get back on the field for Saturday’s game, though, remains to be seen. At least for now.
