It was another noteworthy and news-filled week for Penn State.
The NFL made its decision over whether the Philadelphia Eagles would be punished for tampering following Penn State Football head coach James Franklin’s comments about his conversation with Saquon Barkley before the running back agreed to terms with the New York Giants’ division rival.
After the league’s investigation, the NFL did not find sufficient evidence of tampering, which likely triggered a sigh of relief from Franklin and is good news for general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles who avoid any sort of punishment.
