Kaytron Allen: 3 Fast Facts, 2 Bold Predictions for 2024 Season
Last season, one of Penn State’s biggest rivals, Michigan, had one of the best running back duos in the country, with Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards leading them to a perfect season and claiming the National Championship.
Now, the Nittany Lions are looking to be the team this season with the best running back duo in the conference, with Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen.
While many people are familiar with Singleton and his game, Allen flies under the radar. Still, he is expected to have another massive season in 2024 after rushing for 902 yards and six scores last season.
The soon-to-be Junior averaged 5.2 yards of carry in each of his first two seasons in college, and let’s see if the future NFL running back can keep it up for a third straight season.
Allen is from Bradenton, Florida, and was ranked as the 15th-best running back in the 2022 class, according to 247sports.com.
According to the NFL Mock Draft Database, Allen is not expected to be selected during the 2025 NFL Draft and would be an undrafted free agent if he were to come out.
However, this uncertainty adds to the intrigue of Allen’s journey.
The good news is that Allen still has an entire football season to rank himself higher. Also, he could always come back to school next season.
But since Allen will still be in a Penn State uniform this season, let’s get to know the star running back better.

2 Bold Predictions for Penn State RB Kaytron Allen in 2024
Allen should have an excellent 2024 season, and here are some bold predictions for the star running back.
1. Allen and Singleton will have over 1,000 rushing yards each and ten touchdowns.
Penn State is going to look to run the ball a lot this season since they are expected to have a great defense once again, so getting a lead early and just running the clock will be something you see a lot this season in Happy Valley.
2. Allen will finish as First-Team All-Big Ten.
This prediction might be massive, but there is a good chance this will happen.
Allen will have some competition, and one is even on his team in Singleton, but if the Nittany Lions are going to want to make the playoffs this year, the running game will have to be perfect, and Allen could be the one to take control of the ground game.
