There’s just a handful of programs that produce NFL-caliber Tight Ends like the Nittany Lions.

It’s consistently an elite group, and Luke Reynolds is now part of the Armada.

The True Freshman tight end from Massachusetts had Alabama, Kentucky, and South Carolina heavily in pursuit. The No. 1 ranked TE in the nation became a Nittany Lion, officially, on national signing day.

At 6-foot-4 and 228lbs as a freshman, Reynolds is described as a true leader in the locker room and on the field, fast and physical.

In 2023 Luke tallied 48 receptions, 754 yards, and nine total touchdowns as a senior, averaging 15.7 yards per catch.

Rated as a five-star prospect by 247Sports and a four-star prospect by ESPN. The sky is the limit for Luke in a new offense at PSU.

Luke Reynolds: Three Fast Facts

1. Luke’s brother Colin plays at Holy Cross
2. Luke’s described as ‘fierce’ competitor, holds his teammates accountable & has a top notch work ethic.
3. Luke joins a TE group that had the most receiving TDs in the nation last year.

Two 2024 Predictions

1. Reynolds will be used creatively in three Tight Ends sets.

Reynolds’ frame and skill-set give him the chance to create significant mismatches for opposing defenses.

2. Reynolds catches at least two touchdowns in 2024.

With such a deep TE room, Reynolds may not see a high amount of starting time but I expect him to make the most of the time he does get, pulling in two TDs on the season.
