Penn State Wrestling's No. 4 Beau Bartlett was next to hit the mat in the 141-pound role against on No. 23 Cole Mattin. A Bartlett takedown highlighted the first period and allowed him to take a 2-0 lead heading into the second period. Bartlett then rolled out of the bottom position to secure another takedown as he increased his lead to 4-1. Bartlett struck for another takedown and glided to a 6-2 victory
No. 1 Penn State Wrestling is back inside the cavernous halls of the Bryce Jordan Center as they are set to host No. 19 Michigan this Friday evening.
And while a “Nittany Lion vs. Wolverine” matchup is typically something to circle on the calendar. This matchup may not live up to the hype of some of the past clashes.
Now this isn’t to say there won’t be any edge-of-your-seat matchups tomorrow night. Because I feel like there could be several matches that could go to the wire. Additionally, it’s possible the Wolverines could pull an upset here or there.
Albeit the probability isn’t exactly high. Especially with the caliber of the lineup Cael Sanderson is trotting out there this season.
So before we look at the possible starting lineup and predictions, let’s take a look at how you can tune into Sunday’s action.
