It has been a couple of months since Penn State Basketball named Mike Rhoades as head Coach, and he is already making an impact on the recruiting side of things.
Late Monday night, Penn State would land its first recruit for 2024 in combo guard Jahvin Carter from Tennessee’s Alcoa High School

At 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Carter averaged 27.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game last season, as a junior.
According to 247 sports, Carter had drawn interest from the likes of Texas Tech and Virginia Tech, among others, prior to committing to the Nittany Lions.
So far we can say that the new era of Penn State Basketball is going to be exciting and something to watch for the next couple of years.
