Saturday’s Penn State Basketball loss to Maryland didn’t just potentially derail the program’s NCAA Tournament hopes, but also drew the ire of the fanbase.
After dropping four consecutive games, some Nittany Lions fans are beginning to wonder if even the NIT remains a viable possibility.
Those fans didn’t hold back on Saturday afternoon.
Penn State Basketball fans let their voices be heard following the loss to Maryland. Here’s a sampling of how fans took Saturday’s loss:
The “Fuck Penn State” chants by Maryland fans get real annoying but hey I feel like we win just by how much they are annoyed by not being able to beat us football that they need to chant that at our basketball team 🤷🏼♂️

Sadly, that loss to Maryland probably is the final nail in the coffin for Penn State. Nittany Lions would need to go at least 5-1 down the stretch to have any case for a bid.
