One day after Georgia Bulldogs hoisted the National Championship Trophy, Penn State Football got significant news that boosts the Nittany Lions‘ 2023 championship aspirations.
“I’m back”. Penn State linebacker Curtis Jacobs announced on Twitter that he will return to play for Penn State Football in 2023.
Jacobs, a former 4-star composite recruit out of Maryland, played Will and Sam linebacker for the Nittany Lions this season, tallying 52 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks, an interception, a touchdown, and a forced fumble this season. Jacobs earned a All-Big Ten honorable mention by the coaches and the media this season. Jacobs will return alongside freshman All American Abdul Carter to make up one of the best linebacker units in the country. Jacobs’ return bolsters one of the best defenses in the country and Jacobs will be a key piece of the Nittany Lions Big Ten championship and playoff run in 2023.
