Jacobs, a former 4-star composite recruit out of Maryland, played Will and Sam linebacker for the Nittany Lions this season, tallying 52 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks, an interception, a touchdown, and a forced fumble this season. Jacobs earned a All-Big Ten honorable mention by the coaches and the media this season.

Jacobs will return alongside freshman All American Abdul Carter to make up one of the best linebacker units in the country. Jacobs’ return bolsters one of the best defenses in the country and Jacobs will be a key piece of the Nittany Lions Big Ten championship and playoff run in 2023.
