The official start to the NFL offseason has begun as teams are in Indianapolis to see the future stars of the league, including several former Penn State Football standouts, in action at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
As the Workouts for the NFL Combine get going on Thursday, one of those former Nittany Lions revealed some news that left many scratching their heads, ahead of cornerbacks hitting the Lucas Oil Stadium turf for on-field drills.
Penn State DB Johnny Dixon would announce that he would not do any workouts

There could be a couple reason in this move by Dixon. There’s the chance that he’s recovering from an injury. Perhaps his agents and trainers have advised him not to run at the Combine, or that he’s hoping to generate enough interest in meetings with teams that he’ll be able to workout during private top-30 visits later this spring.
Additionally, there’s the possibility that Dixon could be wavering on his declaration for the NFL Draft and could be eyeing a return to Penn State in 2024.
