No. 11 Penn State Football got off to a sluggish start at Rutgers against the Scarlet Knights, that is, until freshman running back Nick Singleton sparked the Nittany Lions.
The Lions trailed Rutgers 3-0, when Singleton returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown to give Penn State Football the lead.

It has been a while that we saw a Kickoff Touchdown by Penn State
Singleton goes 100 yards on the kickoff return for a score. It marks the 3rd time since 1975 Penn State has had a 100-yard kickoff return for a TD.
Penn State gets its first kickoff return for a TD since Lamont Wade went the distance against Michigan State in 2020.
