Penn State Football: A New Year’s Six Mainstay
This is Penn State’s second consecutive New Year’s 6 Bowl, following last year’s Rose Bowl win over Utah, and Penn State’s 5th New Year’s 6 Bowl appearance under head coach James Franklin, during his 10-year tenure.
This year’s game will be Penn State’s first appearance in the Peach Bowl, giving Penn State Football the unique opportunity to be the only team in college football to win all six New Year’s 6 Bowl games.
Penn State has never faced Ole Miss in history so the matchup in the Peach Bowl will be two firsts for the Nittany Lions.
