Penn State Football Linked to Top Transfer Portal WR

Penn State Football is gearing up for the Big Ten Title game this Saturday against Oregon, and when the Nittany Lions‘ defense takes the field, they will be going up against some of the best wide receivers in the country.
The Ducks have three great receivers: Tez Johnson, Evan Stewart, and Traeshon Holden.
Penn State will need to do its best to stop its high-flying offense, and if they can neutralize it, there is a great chance the Nittany Lions can pull the upset.

While Penn State Football is trying to take down opposing teams’ star wide receivers, it is also looking to add some to its roster for next season. With the transfer portal opening next week, names will fly around. One player who could be heading to Happy Valley is NC State wide receiver Kevin Concepcion, who plans to enter the portal.
Pete Nakos from On3.com states, “NC State WR Kevin Concepcion is expected to look at Colorado, Alabama, Auburn, Penn State, and Kansas State once he enters the NCAA Transfer Portal.”
The sophomore recorded 460 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season and was one of the bright spots on an NC State offense that had a hard time trying to get anything going this season.
Penn State has a chance to make their offense even better next year, and adding a player like Concepcion could convince quarterback Drew Allar to return to school for one more season and not enter the NFL Draft.

Allar needs another year to work on his game before he goes to the NFL, and getting him a playmaker like Concepcion could improve his play and draft stock for 2026.
