Penn State Football QB Sean Clifford Visits Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens got a closer look at Penn State Football quarterback Sean Clifford, hosting Clifford on an official visit ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Clifford, who had a strong showing during the Nittany Lions‘ Pro Day, is projected to be a late-round selection in this year’s draft, or a potential undrafted free-agent.

A five-year college veteran, and four-year starter at the helm of the Penn State Football offense, Clifford completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 10,661 yards with 86 touchdowns to 31 interceptions during his collegiate career.

The Ravens could be in the market for quality depth at quarterback, especially if Lamar Jackson is moved via a pre-draft trade in the coming weeks.

Despite not being invited to the NFL Combine, Clifford had the opportunity to work out in front of representatives from all 32 teams, on campus, at Penn State’s Pro Day. Clifford says he used that Combine snub as pre-draft motivation.

“Being able to come out here, show the scouts what I got, and being able to really just put on a show,” Clifford told reporters on pro day. “It’s been a lot of fun, and a good way to cap off a great career at Penn State. So I’m really thankful.”
