Drew Allar starts with BANG with Touchdown Pass to KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Penn State Football Fans Erupt
Drew Allar didn’t waste anytime introducing himself to a national audience under the bright lights of Week 1, leading Penn State Football to a convincing and workmanlike 38-15 win over West Virginia.
On the Nittany Lions’ first possession of the season, Allar hit wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith for a 72-yard touchdown, as a harbinger of what was to come in the game, and perhaps an opening salvo of a season that holds much promise for Penn State.
By game’s end, Allar finished with 325 passing yards with three touchdowns, but it was his first as the Lions’ starter that sent Twitter into euphoria:
