Must See: Penn State Hockey Makes SportsCenter Top-10

Penn State Hockey didn’t just get off to a fast start, but picked up some significant national publicity in the process. Over the weekend, Penn State hockey started off the season hot by sweeping Canisius. The beat down of the Golden Griffins concluded with a silky goal from Kevin Wall, one that landed the Nittany Lions‘ star on SportsCenter top 10.

“How bout those Nittanys!”

Leading goal scorer from the past season, Wall started where he left off. He barreled his way over the offensive blue line before slipping the puck under a defenseman’s stick, finishing it off with a quick snap shot. This was his second goal of the weekend, tallying five points total against the Griffs. My Take On Kevin WallWall will easily be a top three point scorer for the Lions. Kevin Wall will have a real chance to score 18 goals this season. It should come easy with his new line mates Ryan Kirwan (5 points), and Ture Linden (5 points).
