The numbers remind me of all the new uniforms we have been seeing in past years in both football and basketball. The style font used for Penn State across the chest is solid, but the number just seems out of place.
3) Keeping the stripe down the side of the uniforms was a good decision from the previous design.
It keeps the Penn State classic look and is a replica of the football helmets.
This is probably my favorite part of the jerseys, because it gives some contrast to having a solid color but isn’t so flashy that it doesn’t represent Penn State.
It is safe to assume that the away jersey will be simply a color switch from what was already released.
What will be interesting, though, will be to see if they bring back the alternate grey or black and pink uniforms. If they do, will they be the same style as what has already been released or modified?
Starting a new coaching era with a new look is a good call, let’s just hope the play on the floor continues to improve.
