No. 10 Penn State Football vs. Michigan Gets National Spotlight, Prime Kickoff

Joel Klatt somewhat spoiled this one a few weeks ago, but Monday it was confirmed that No. 10 Penn State Football vs. No. 4 Michigan will be a noon kickoff at the Big House as a part of FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff.

This figures to be one of the preeminent games of week seven when the Nittany Lions will return from the much needed bye week and take on Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines.

Michigan still has business to take care of in Bloomington this coming Saturday, but all signs point to a top-10 matchup in Ann Arbor on October, 15th.

This will be Penn State Football’s second time being featured on FOX this season, with the first time being opening night at Purdue where Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt were also on the call. As FOX continues to take over their reign of Big Ten games, kicking off at noon on FOX is a sign that this is THE game in the conference and one of the games of the day in college football.

Michigan went to Iowa City and disposed of an anemic Hawkeyes team this past Saturday, while the Nittany Lions played a way to close for comfort game in rain soaked Beaver Stadium against Northwestern, coming out with a 17-7 victory.
