No. 11 Penn State Football aims to close the 2022 College Football season, with an upset victory over No. 8 Utah in the 2023 Rose Bowl, on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 in Pasadena, Calif. in a 5 p.m. Eastern kickoff on ABC.
The Nittany Lions, led by head coach James Franklin, quarterback Sean Clifford, and a horde of young talent that includes freshmen running backs Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen, along with a defense buttressed by former five-star freshman linebacker Abdul Carter can close out the season with a top-10 finish by knocking off the Utes.
This is the second appearance for Penn State Football in the Rose Bowl, under Franklin, and fourth New Year’s Six Bowl berth since the head coach’s arrival in Happy Valley.
