Penn State Football Expecting Next Superstar QB to Visit Saturday

No. 7 Penn State Football will hold its annual White Out game this Saturday night with the No. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes coming to town.

While the White Out gives the Nittany Lions a huge advantage on the field, it also helps pave the way for future star-studded Penn State rosters. This game truly is one of the best recruiting events in the entire country.

This year is no different and there will be a serious headliner to the visitor list this weekend.

According to 247 Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 class, Bryce Underwood will be in attendance Saturday.

Bryce Underwood Visiting Penn State Football is Huge Deal

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback from Belleville, MI is the top rated player in the 247 Sports Composite for the 2025 class.

Underwood’s offer sheet includes the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

Needless to say, everyone in the nation wants Underwood.

This will be Penn State’s best chance at making a good impression with Underwood. He’s seen plenty of schools, but the White Out is something different that no other school can truly replicate.

A big game from a fellow former 5-star recruit in Drew Allar will also help out the Nittany Lions.

If Allar goes off against a stingy Iowa defense, the staff can sell Underwood on being ‘the guy’ after Allar moves on.

There will be plenty of other big-name recruits in attendance, but Underwood is the clear-cut top name on the list.

Penn State Football has done a great job of recruiting the quarterback position under offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich, but Underwood would be his most impressive pull yet.
